WMV TO AVI Converter is a very small tool designed to convert wmv video to avi. It can also work as a video splitter and editor. It lets you change frame size, frame rate, video and audio compression codecs.
Its interface is simple (and not very good looking, same as every other product from this developer) and includes basic controls to reproduce video and configure settings for the output.
The main features of this application include AVI encoding with DIVX, XVID, Windows Media Codecs, among others. the possibility to split video files into smaller pieces, change frame size, and adjust video aspect ratio, Choose encoding bitrate, video and audio compression codecs for avi file.
It also converts the following video formats to AVI: ASF, MPEG, OGM, VCD, SVCD, DAT. It basically is the same application as MPEG to AVI with a different name. If you need an easy to use video conversion tool, this might be a good option, it is small, fast and very simple, its interface could look a lot better but it works.
